Slate is a fine grained metamorphic rock. Its main constituents are quartz, chlorite, mica & calcite. Slate is formed when ocean or riverbed sediments are compressed and heated by the earth's crust.

If you would like a sample, one will be sent free of charge. If you would like more than one sample or would like full size samples the tiles are free but we charge £10 to cover postage and packaging. If you place the order with us you can use the £10 towards the cost of the total bill.
